State Street Ballet's Summer Intensive is for serious ballet students age 12–21. Classes include ballet technique, pointe, partnering, modern jazz, character, and strength-building classes. We provide students with the opportunity to learn and perform excellent choreography, which ranges from classical to contemporary in style. The artistry of dance is expressed through choreography, and we place a strong emphasis on its value. Our Summer Intensive Program culminates in a fully staged performance that friends and family can attend on Friday, July 12th, 2013.

State Street Ballet’s Colorado Extension is a two-week program in Durango presented by State Street Ballet and the Community Concert Hall at Ft. Lewis College. The program will focus on all aspects of ballet performance including private variation coaching, acting, stage make-up and more. This extension can be taken separately or in conjunction with the Santa Barbara Summer Intensive program. The cost of this program is $875 for tuition only and $1750 for tuition and housing.
