Advanced Training
State Street Ballet offers an apprenticeship program to talented students seeking a career in dance. The program is open to young dancers over 18 years of age with solid training and background in ballet.
Apprentices agree to train and perform with the company for one season at a stipend of $200 per week. Following the apprenticeships, they are evaluated for positions with State Street Ballet. More than 90% of our apprentices have gone on to professional dance careers with State Street Ballet or other prominent companies.
Auditions for the apprentice program are held throughout the year, often
at the same time and location as auditions for our Summer Intensive program.
