Our season at The Granada opens with a stunning Triple Bill: American Masters. Produced in association with the Santa Barbara Choral Society and orchestra, featuring Aaron Copland’s Appalachian Spring, Leonard Bernstein’s Chichester Psalms, Morten Lauridsen’s Lux Aeterna, and choreography by William Soleau, this tour-de-force production showcases arts collaboration at its best. It’s an experience to be cherished.
In December, we’re joined by Opera San Luis Obispo Grand Orchestra, the students of Gustafson Dance, and a local children’s choir for the annual community favorite, The Nutcracker at The Granada. Our spring performance, Sleeping Beauty, is a world premiere and the newest story ballet in our Family Series..
A modern take on a favorite fairytale, this new full-length ballet combines original choreography with classical elements, set to Tchaikovsky's celebrated score. One night only!
