Back by popular demand, EVENINGS returns to the Gail Towbes Center for Dance for two nighttime performances! With choreography by State Street Ballet's talented dancers, this intimate experience allows an up-close-and-personal glimpse at the choreographic process. Featuring exciting world premieres in a casual, social environment, EVENINGS always attracts the edgy and upbeat, while providing a forum to explore innovative and unique movement.

Rudyard Kipling’s famous tale of the “laws of the jungle” will ignite your sense of adventure onstage at The Granada Theatre! With choreography by Rodney Gustafson and Kassandra Taylor Newberry, and an original score by Czech composer Milan Svoboda, State Street Ballet’s dancers will take you on a whimsical journey through the jungles and forests of India.

Marika is from Kumagaya, Japan and won the "Grand Prix" and "Most Promising Female" awards at the Elmhurst School for Dance in the United Kingdom. She joined State Street Ballet in 2015 and has performed the leading roles of Clara and the Sugar Plum Fairy in The Nutcracker and the dual roles of Odette/Odile as a Principal Guest Artist with Fresno Ballet Theatre.Learn More...
