State Street Ballet is an internationally acclaimed company of professional dancers from around the world. We look for dancers with strong classical and contemporary backgrounds, who are interested in working collaboratively and exploring their individual styles of movement. Pointe work for the women, strong partnering skills, and modern dance training are required.

State Street Ballet's 2019 Summer Intensive is for serious ballet students ages 12-21, and includes training in ballet, modern, pas de deux, jazz, pointe, and strength-training. The Summer Intensive culminates in a fully-staged performance for family and friends.

State Street Ballet's 2019/20 Professional Track Program is a year-round intensive that is designed for the advanced dancer with aspirations of a professional career. For students ages 18-22, this innovative course meets five days a week, 32 weeks per year, preparing dancers for a career in dance through participation in State Street Ballet company class, opportunities to perform and tour with the professional company, and a focus on fine-tuning both technique and artistry.

Our 2019 Spring Workshop - an opportunity to spend a week with us in Santa Barbara, explore new movement styles, learn company repertoire, and audition for State Street Ballet or our Professional Track Program in a more personal way.
